An Israeli tank crew who killed Reuters cameraman Fadel Shana Shana and eight young bystanders in the Gaza Strip in April 2008. The Israeli missile targeted a clearly marked 'Reuters' van. Israel would take four months before stating what was anticipated that the killers acted properly and will not face legal action, Reuters said it was deeply disturbed by a conclusion that severely curtails the freedom of the media to cover the conflict by effectively giving soldiers a free hand to kill without being sure they were not firing on journalists.
