Received this photo and description from Jeff who lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Jeff used our submission form and we thank him for the submission. According to Jeff, 'My wife and mother-in-law had dragged me out of bed at 5 a.m. to go to the Balloon Festival. I was taking random photos and noticed this anomaly in the northwestern sky.'
