His last official act in that position, was to assassinate Anwar Sadat along with at least 5 of this fellow soldiers in l981. In l984, "AA" was released from a life sentence in Egypt to fly to the US under a "CIA-Special Asset" Green Card to train at Ft. Bragg, Special Warfare Unit.
