Who better to protect the Senates' asses than a Senator-President. In fact, FOX News (oxy-moron) just hired Karl Rove (foxy-moron) and Limbaugh (oxy-incontinent-moron) to help stop you from believing your own eyes and ears! "Hey! (Fox/NBC/CBS) Mitchie..I just hit the Trifecta!"
Isn't electing a "US Senator" to be "President" the same as Britney Spears' "boy friend" being appointed as her "Conservator" and then giving her Sodium Pentathol so she can't remember her breakdown? What's the point? How does "forgetting" the past, help you cope with the future? What's the point of "trusting" someone you KNOW you can't trust to protect your interest then being shocked when they disappoint you!
It's called "CO-DEPENDENCY"...when someone has an uncontrollable and irrational need to trust the very same person who has an uncontrollable and irrational need to screw them, for their own personal or political gain. (ie, "Amy Winehouse borrows $25 for groceries then buys crack!")
The exact same interests, agendas and forces that "gamed" the 2000 and 2004 Presidential Elections are hard at work "gaming" the 2008 Election. It's all being down in front of your very eyes. Jefferson needs us to wake up, now. Even if it hurts!
If you google "US Presidential Debate Committee"..you'll eventually find the same information I found during the 2000 Election debates..that both the Democratic and Republican debates are organized and sponsored by the exact same group of corporate interests.
If you dig a little deeper, you may find that the same group of corporate interests select the "Candidates" who will run and decide who can particpate in the debates. In fact, my friend, Karl Rove is working with FOX to convince you not to believe your eyes! Hiring Rove is like hiring your drug addicted son to control the US Supply of addictive drugs. It ain't nothin' but a "green light" to political catastrophe!
My God! I look at all the shiny, beaming, happy faces...as mature men and women virtually bubble..as they look at Hillary or at Obama. We all want so much to believe the process isn't rigged! We all so want to believe that Hillary and Obama..aren't responsible for the Special Interest "toilet" legistlation and the Wall Street "Cess Pool" that has destroyed the Middle Class economy, the American Dream and US foreign policy...but they are.
In fact, the vast majority of Americans are unaware of the votes of the "Candidates" in favor of Special Interests of foreign water suppliers that have virtually destroyed the US Municipal Water System and have destroyed our "Domestic Water Supply". In other words, within the next 5 years the US will be as dependent on foreign "governments" for clean water as we are today on British Petroleum for our gasoline.
People! We've all go to do a better of job a "self-investgative" journalism. We've got to come to an understand of what the US Senate is doing to the American infrastructure. You can't believe what you read in the "media"..because the "media" is in on it. With very few exceptions, no media is covering the real issues...just "Blue Sky and Marshmallows...The Fattening Of the American Psyche For Slaughter".
Don't get me wrong. I watch TV news. I see true "joy" in the eyes of the American voters. I see hope. But, I see something else. I see "denial". I see fear. Years ago, zorro, was on the Board of Directors of a Drug & Rehab facility. I used to look at the faces of the families beaming with pride and massively impossible expectations as their children, spouses and loved ones graduate from the addiction program.
Look, I'm not asking Americans not to Love Hillary! I'm not asking anyone to stop loving Obama..but I am saying that "we can't always TRUST, the ones we love the most...all the time".
In fact, we have to start asking ourselves why we are 100's of times harder on our "spouses" than our elected officials. How? Well, it appears that 48% of us "divorce" our spouses after only 5 years of marriage or less for a vast range of valid reasons. Yet, we keep voting for the same "unfaithful scoundrels" we know are screwing us, non-stop for the past 30 years. Why do we have such a "mild" standard of "faith" for "politics" when we KNOW they can't be trusted?
Is it the "God & Country" MEME? If it is, you need to be "re-memed" because the vast majority of our politicians bear any resemblance to "God"..although they do say "Jesus" frequently, so you'll forgive them. Talk about "lowered" expectations!
When it comes to politics, confusing love of "country" with trust of public officials...was a deadly cocktail of American "naivete" on September 11th, 2001. At the minimum, our elected officials grossly underestimated the threat and virtually failed to warn us of the danger or respond effectively to protect us. They lied!
In those same massive smiles of proud parents we saw at Rehab graduation, we could also see the slightest glimmer of unconsolable fear and dread..of concern that it was all going to happen again. No one dares to turn their heads to see anyone else's eyes. None of us can bear the thought that we aren't in control of the future of the ones we love. We can't guarantee the "good life".
Eventually, we all learned to stop attending the "Graduations". Even the staff. It was just to painful to watch. That's all I see now, in the face of the American voter. A Co-Dependent Hope their vote will change something! It can't if you keep voting for the same addicts...graduating from different school..time after time!
In the case of the 2008 elections, our "addicts" are "graduating" to the Greatest Power on Earth...but they've never so much as admitted their addiction and we are still having "serious denial issues". 73% of all drug addicts, become re-addicted.
This election is about the promises of addicts. This election is/was about the "promise" of US Senators Mc Cain, Edwards, Clinton/Blythe (or whoever she is) and Obama. Four people who are more responsible for the mess than any other 4 people you could find. If there is an "accounting" for the past sins of the US Senate, do you really think they'll implicate themselves or Senator Rockefeller?
In fact, the four US or ex US Senators in the race are actually 4% responsible for the mess we're in now..they are 4/100 US Senators that got us into it, in the first place. They are addicts! We're all the hopeful "parental units" trying with all our hearts and souls to justify their behavior...as the leaders of a US Senate "addicted to oil money" and "lobbyists".
Screw the Governors and US Senators. Let's nominate REAL PEOPLE! Let's nominate Middle Class Men and Women and Blacks and Chicanos! Let's nominate a successful Miami auto dealer! Why not nominate a "Homemaker From St Louis"! How About a Business Woman and Lawyer from a small town in Kansas. Why not the head of the Miami Dade County Real Estate Association.
Why do we keep getting the same tired group of men and women who have "GROOMED IN THE SYSTEM" for the past 25 years! It's CRAP! Why don't we nominate the head of the Massachusetts Medical Society? How about the American Medical Association? How about the President of Emory Law School? The Dean of Engineering at Georgia Tech?
The "Ombudsman" for the University of Virginia? Senior VP of Gap On Line? Why not the CFO of Verizon? Why not the CFO of Amazon? of AT &T? Why in the HELL..do our candidates have to come from the US Senate or the Governor of a State? I "don't get it! I thought anybody could be President? Oh, NO! Is that just a "Meme", as well?
How about an Obstetrician? an Oncologist? Why not a Pediatrician? What kind of MD is "Ron Paul"? Che Guevera, the South American Revolutionary was an MD! Dr. CHE! The CIA killed him. Why not an airline pilot from Southwest...25 years of service to "people",who goes to church occasionally but isn't born again? That makes sense!
Why in hell's name doesn't someone nominate "Chris Abraham". Or someone not in the Rockefeller/NBC/GE War Conspiracy Machine and Media Medicine Show? Why not a "FREAKING COLLEGE PROFESSOR, with a Wife a Kids and A Grandmother!" SCREW THE US SENATE! SCREW THE GOVERNORS OF THE US! They have clearly NOT been the trusted guardians of our interest we'd hope they should be..for the past 25 years.
In the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson said..we must "establish New Guards for our future security". A concept which today is being outlawed by an out of control Homeland Security organization that hires Ex-Russian KGB heads to help create the programs that Bush uses to spy on AMericans. There are too many issues to keep buying into the "Bad Ol' Boy" system that brought us "Larry Craig"...and other "Page-Boy" Rapists!
The 4% figure sounds really low..and unimportant doesn't it. Well, in comparison to the average American who voted for them in 2000...that means we're each responsible for .0000001% of the mess. If we vote for the same people in 2000, 2004 and 2008..what do we expect to happen? So, whereas the average voter is 1/10,000,000 th responsible for casting our votes..the US Senate is 100% responsible for not listening to us.
We approve of them and support them by "Voting" our "Votes of Confidence"> We tell them we love them,by our votes. We hope they appreciate our vote and will Love and Take care of us, right back. But, we know they are addicted! They are addicts and we are...the "Co-Dependent" Voters of these "Co-Dependent Dis-United States of America"...and to the "Addicted Republic" for which it stands. No Nation..under No God...divisible and disheveled.
But addicts are about "destroying themselves". They never hold themselves accountable for destroying their families or friends. They all make the same claim..."you chose" to lend me the money! It's not my fault you gave it to me.
You "chose" to let me authorize war..it's not my fault that someboddy told me how to vote. (Except Dennis Kucinich..!) No, the reason why we have no "infrastructure" is because "addicts" can ONLY destroy through "neglect" of themselves and of their lives. Addicts can't build.The money we give "addicts" to use to build..they use to get the "fix" of power they need to take care of themselves.
We are "dependent" on the addict..we are willing to keep electing US Senators to offices with even more "access" to their drug of choice. They can only destroy the others around them..if the "co-dependency" is allowed to take its course.
What are the 4 Senators addicted to? Power, money, blood and fame. They are addicted to their favorite TOOLS of power, the Tool of abject secrecy that hides their own sins, loyalty to the powers that be who have the power to protect them, to double-speak and avoidance..the tool of "denial"..without which..an addict becomes "human" again.
They are addicted to "money" as the source of Power and "destruction" as the source of problem solving. How can we ask them to break their habits...! When we refuse to break our "habit" of voting for the "Addicts". I see hundreds of bloggers every day complain about the "politics" of control through fear! And yet no one notices, we are now asked to vote for the exact same people who "manage" that policy of fear.
We need to stop voting like "co-dependent" parents...and start to question. There will NEVER be answers if everyone is waiting for someone else to ask the hard questions.
I wouldn't have believed that after 8 years of the current Republican travesty of leadership, that there would be ANY way on earth another Republican could be elected to the Presidency. In fact, if another Republican is elected in 2008, then I promise you the Senate and the House will revert as well by 2010.
But, in the final analysis, this isn't about Democrat or Republican. This is about an extremely small "cadre" of men and women who have hijacked the American political process we call voting. Just a handful...have thrown elections into the courts. It would seem Gore won Florida by 304 votes and Kerry won Ohio by 112.
Whoever was responsible for covering up the fact that Bush lost the last two elections is the people who are now busy, screwing up this one. There are teams and teams of strategist working 24/7 to make this come true. And Karl Rove..is "team leader".
Today, there is really no difference. Hillary used to be a Democrat. Most of them have switched..at least once. Whatever will get them the job..Whatever will get them elected. That's what they are addicted to. They will DO or Say anything to get their "power high". They can't stop!
In the case of the 2008 Committee it's pretty obvious in it's stratgey. Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich were just "political tokens"...just like Obama and Hillary. The last 25 years has "trended" toward the "conservative". The "Conservative Trend Line" is not "conducive" to voting for "female" or "blacks" except in communities where "minorities" predominate.
In fact, I find it impossible to believe that there is not one single White Male Democratic candidate that is qualified to run for President EXCEPT US Senators! I think it's absurd that the ONLY Republican candidates the media is allowing us to take seriously is a US Senator and an ex-Governor.
Where all all the admirable NON US Government! Non-Rockefeller White or Black Males? Why do we ONLY get to vote for Men or Women who got us into this GOD DAMN MESS in the first place?
That means voter registration is going to be important in "minority" areas but the "minority" vote is being shunted toward republican by Bush's "pro-immigrant" stand. So, no matter how many "blacks" or "Minorities" get registered, they are all going to be counter-acted by the Democratic "anti-immigrant" stand. It's sheer genius. (I smell a Rove!)
That means, in a general US election with "Conservative" voters at 50 and "moderate/liberal" block at 50%...it's also possible for the "Moderates" not to vote "en masse" for "females" or blacks". In other words, if the "conservative" "red state" block still exists at 40-45% of voters..and if as few as 15% of the "moderate" or "liberal democratic" males refuse to vote for "black" or "female candidates"...then the current "candidate" slate is absolutely PERFECT to guarantee the "re-election" of Republican leadership...by "counter-balancing" any "increased" voter registration and/or "immigrant worker" defection to the Republican side.
Even the contest between Mc Cain and Romney is engineered to drive "moderate" and "conservatives" toward "mc cain". Don't let Limbaugh or Ann (Satan-etta) Coulter fool you. They're just reading the scripts! The right wants to "move" you to Mc Cain...by default. Unless of course, the "True US Leadership Group" cares to speak up!
Who are they? 18-35 can rule this Nation..if they just speak up & vote! Screw "Generation X"...We should call them..."The Power Generation"...Take it NOW! Trust me...you can't "Take Power"...YOU ARE THE POWER..."BE THE POWER"...VOTE!
