Disinfo: Incredible Film Posters Of Communist Poland

Many of the major movies from the U.S. were released in Poland under Communism. However, the American posters were ditched and replaced with jaw-dropping renditions by Polish artists. The design blog Well Medicated collects some of these fantastic works, which show an alternate way of perceiving the blockbuster films with which we're all familiar. Ridley Scott's Alien:


An exhibit of over 250 original vintage Polish movie posters is now on display at The Vintage Poster Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
