While I was doing research on this and that historica project, I ran across a book called "The History of Salt". As I read, it occurred to me that as individual families/bloodlines kept the existence of "Salt Mines" and "Gold Mines" secret for tens, perhaps hundreds of generations, it dawned on me that they would have stayed in the same family, to keep the secret safe. A little more research showed that you need several ingredients to make Papyrus and yet the secret of creating papyrus was kept for nearly 2,000 years...because in an age that stopped believing in the "spoken" word...the "WRITTEN WORD" became the sole path of truth...a new form of truth, BEHELD BY THE EYE!
A little more research indicate that the families that owned the rushes where Papyrus was grown also owned the mines where minerals were extracted to make inks/pigments. The same is going on today. The only question I have is...are todays families that own all the mines and the "medi-eye" today...the exact same families?
Throw off the yoke of self-imposed intellectual exile. Revolution in Media has come...the awkening of the mind's eye.
