2,000 Tibetans Have Been Sentenced to Death by China

A dear friend of mine popped me an email from where he lives in Nepal:

Would you help me make a blog to spread the real truth about what is happening in Tibet? today i head 2000 have been sentensed to death but nothing in the mainstream media.... It's fucking terrible.

This is very interesting to hear, but I am not surprised. I am going to help him as best I can. Stay tuned and let me know if you want to help!

I asked my contact in Nepal,

Would you like a collaborative blog or your own? I am there, sir, just don't yourself killed.

And he replied:

Collaborative I guess. Anything that will help spread awareness... 2000 people are apparently going to be executed and the world knows nothings... Tibetans are saying 100's were shot in the beginning. I think if there is a central place for people to put their news it will surely grow much by itself. You are the blogging expert though.

So, what do you all think? Would you be interested in joining a dedicated china blog or a general Human rights violations blog? It would be collaborative like this one. Maybe China-centric is better for the reason of focus?

a general human rights blog might be better, for allowing not-very-well-known human right's violations a platform to contribute.  It would also allow others who are knowledgable in one human right's violation to become educated on other violations.
